I may have a solution for you, however we do not currently have a combination reverse 921 light bulb and back up alarm available. We are not aware of when one might become available.
We do have the stand alone Pollak Light-Duty to Medium-Duty Back-Up Alarm with Wire Leads # PK41820. This will install on the underside of your truck and tap into the reverse light wire. I have attached a demonstration video on this product as well as a link that will take you to our available selection of... view full answer...
You'd have to track the wiring that leads to the reverse lights of the 2015 Toyota Highlander and then test all of them with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 until you find the circuit that only carries voltage when the reverse lights are on. That would be the correct circuit to use. view full answer...
I don't recommend converting a wired home alarm to an RV. The issue is home alarms typically use 120v where you will want the 12v alarm for your RV. I recommend using the Atwood RV Carbon Monoxide and Propane Gas Detector - 12 Volt - White # AT36681. This allows you to have two power supply options one for backup power and a single ground. I've attached a photo to assist.
You can use a completely battery operated unit that would be used in a home in your RV, but rewiring a system... view full answer...
As long as your 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 has a rectangular plug at the end of the factory wiring harness, I recommend the Pollak Replacement 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket for Dodge # PK11893-11933.
This connector will plug into the factory rectangular connector and provide you with a 7-Way vehicle-side socket for the rear of your pickup.
I have attached a review video of this connector for you.
If the plug on the end of your vehicle's factory wiring isn't a rectangular plug... view full answer...
The first thing you will want to do is try resetting the detector. This can be done by holding the test button. If the Red alarm light is still on after a reset, and there are no gas leaks, it is going to be time to replace the detector. They generally last around 7 years so it is not uncommon for them to go bad. Our best option for replacing the ProTECHtor LP Gas Detector is the Atwood RV Carbon Monoxide and Propane Gas Detector part # AT36681. This will be a nice upgrade as it can detect... view full answer...
All breakaway kits function the same. It's basically just a pin that is released to then complete a circuit which engages the trailer's brakes. Having a pin be stuck after not moving for 10 years isn't too surprising so I wouldn't be alarmed by it. I recommend testing your system more often. As a tip it is best to unplug your trailer from the 7-way when testing. Some brake controllers can be damaged.
If you need a new switch you can use # 3802348. view full answer...
We have the other parts you'd need to flat tow your 2021 Ford Ranger but we do not have a remote battery health indicator we can offer. A battery maintainer/charger like the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line kit part # RM-156-25 which would keep the battery easily topped off so that the issue you described would not occur.
For a base plate kit that fits your Ranger you'd want the Roadmaster Direct Connect kit part # RM-524459-5.
In addition to the base plates, you will also need a compatible... view full answer...
I have some reverse light options for you but the oval reverse light you show in your photo isn't something we have a direct replacement for. My recommendation is the Great White LED Trailer Back Up Light - 20 Diodes - Clear Lens # PE44AR. I've linked the page to you options we carry. view full answer...
The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System # FA94-00-1061 that you have installed does allow for you to backup the trailer with the system hooked up, but you still want to try and avoid turning too much while backing up and staying as straight as possible. Backing up while making a tight turn like what you described is most likely what caused the mounting bolts to shear off on the bracket.
For a replacement bracket assembly you can use # EQ95-01-5600. view full answer...
The Optronics # BUL602CRB is a 2-function lamp, taillight and back up lamp so it won't function in the fashion you're wanting. The good news is that we have a grommet mount lamp that will provide stop/turn, taillight and back up lamp functions, part # STL211RB. If the existing lamp is a 6-1/2 x 2-1/2, this would make a great replacement. If the lamp has been in place for a number of years, you'll want to replace the grommet as well. We offer them as part # A70GB.
You'll also need a 2 wire... view full answer...

When we had the chance to install the Curt hitch part # C11436 on a 2017 Chevy Volt it was a vehicle that had backup sensors and we were able to complete the install and they worked fine.
We had one customer come back and say the only issue with the back up sensors they had was when they were carrying a bike rack since it would get picked up. This would be the hitch we would recommend!
I attached the install video for you to check out as well. view full answer...
Trailer hub and drum assembly # 8-201-5 does match your bearings. I am fairly certain you have 5,200 pound axles and not 3500 pound axles since all of the parts you need are for higher rated axles than 3500 pounds. The races come already pressed into the hub. If your wheels have a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern then this is the hub for you.
This hub and drum takes 12 x 2 inch brakes. The brake assemblies that fit and that are also rated for 5200 pound axles are # 23-324 for the left and # 23-325... view full answer...
The Hydraulic Brake Kit - Uni-Servo - Free Backing - 12" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 5.5K to 7K
Item # AKFBBRK-7 looks like a similar fit. It sounds like you are just looking for the cylinder so based on the photos I recommend the Replacement Wheel Cylinder for 10" and 12" Free Backing Brakes - Uni-Servo - Right Hand # AKBRKR-H7-R-CR or # AKBRKR-H7-L-CR for Left Hand.
With the photo you have, the trailer should back up freely. The Duo-Servo Wheel Cylinder for 12" Titan Brake Assemblies... view full answer...
Based on your tongue weight it sounds like you have the # FA94-00-1061. It is possible you bent a bar depending on how you had your brackets. You should be able to tell if it is bent with a simple inspection since the bar is straight with the exception of the bend where it curves up to attach to the head.
If you need replacement bars we have the # FA94-02-1099. These are rated for 600-1,000 lbs of tongue weight. If your current system is not the # FA94-00-1061, then I would recommend replacing... view full answer...
The Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System part # HM50002 is an all in one unit. There is not a seperate back up camera only part that can be added.
If you are going to replace the system the Rear View Safety Wireless Backup Camera System part # RVS-091406 is a better option for the replacement as it is designed by a company that specifically works with camera systems. The camera and view are of higher quality and one I definitely recommend. view full answer...
You can choose a correct replacement hydraulic drum brake by matching up a few characteristics to yours. You need to match up axle weight capacity (usually found on a sticker or plate on the axle), the drum diameter and width, and your brake mounting bolt pattern.
You can click on the link provided to see our main page for hydraulic drum brakes. First, click on the axle rating, then your drum size. Most of our brake assemblies, such as Demco Hydraulic Free Backing 10 x 2-1/4-inch brake... view full answer...
I have a solution for you but it's not a folding carrier unfortunately.
You can use Curt trailer hitch mount cargo carrier # C18151 on the back of an RV. You will want to avoid models that fold up because folding models have additional points of movements that could possibly fail due to the increased stress associated with being at the back of an RV. view full answer...
I looked up pictures of the back of your 2004 Alumascape and it has a square back that the Stromberg Ladder part # LA-401 would fit and work well on.
The legs of the ladder can be trimmed for length with a hacksaw or tube cutter. When you are installing mounting brackets and support pegs, make certain that all screws are fastened to the RV's blocking or subframe on roof. If you are uncertain if your RV has backing installed, you should contact your RV manufacture to confirm. It is unsafe... view full answer...
